Stat axes that matter

Each weapon has damage, fire rate, reload speed, effective range, and purchase price. Higher damage is valuable, but fire rate, reload, and range also affect total cash earned per hunt.

Starter rifle is serviceable early

Your default rifle is enough for the first sessions. Replace it once Feathers allow.

Sniper (Local class)

Strong range but slow fire rate. Best for picking off rare ducks at distance.

M4-style rifle (Military Soldier)

Balanced mid-range kit. Good for steady DPS during the day.

Flame-thrower (Pyromancer)

High short-range damage. Excellent for cluster fights and cleanup.

Anti-Air Cannon (heavy)

Heavy weapon paired with the Pyromancer class. Best reserved for boss ducks and high-HP targets.

Stat upgrade priority

For weapon stat upgrades, fire rate is often the right first pick for newcomers — it lifts ducks-per-minute immediately. Damage becomes the priority once you have spare Feathers.
